A discounted deal for purchasing the Brinsea Ova View candling lamp along with the Ova Scope.
The OvaView High Intensity is similar to the OvaView but with a much higher light output from a higher spec LED.
The greater power makes inspection of darker and mottled egg shells easier. Supplied with both the normal flexible black ring to seal against the egg shell plus a smaller version for smaller eggs.
Designed to work together the Ova View lays flat on a work surface and the Ova Scope fits neatly over the top.
The on/off switch can be activated from the side along with the dial for rotating the egg during inspection.
Remove the cover and insert an egg onto the platform and replace the cover.
The egg can then be viewed by looking down into the Ova Scope and it's contents, slightly magnified will be easy to see.
The light shining up through the egg gives immediate indications of fertility along with other signs like progression of the air sac (correct water loss) and also shell damage, burst blood vessels, and other imperfections.
The standard Ova View works with most species of eggs although those planning to hatch thick, mottled, or very dark eggs (Guinea Fowl, Turkey, Pheasant etc.) should think about the High Intensity version.
The Ova View is battery powered using 4 AA batteries and uses high output, high efficiency LED illumination so no bulbs to replace or concerns about overheating the eggs during inspection.
When used with the Ova-Scope the black rubber rings are not used.
Two options are available, Standard or High Intensity.
The standard comes complete with batteries.
The High Intensity version has a higher power drain so no batteries are supplied and the use of rechargeable batteries is advised.
